Assalamualaikum warahmatullah hi bawarakatuh brothers & sisters,
I read your post messages with great interest regarding the above matters. I am currently in search for my late grandfather descendants and after reading your messages, I would like to start with you. my late mom always inform us or claimed that she's the direct descendants of Prophet Muhammad sallallah alaihi wassallam. I donot know much of my late grandfather's history and I hope the following bits of information might help:
My grandfather's name: Syed Mirqasid Shah Al Azhar
Born: Not sure, either in Peshwar, Lahore, Kashmir or anywhere in India now Pakistan
Family background: origin from Middle East travel to India/Pakistan
Journal: my grandfather then travel to Malaysia married my grandmother; Ramlah in 1930's or 1940's. Moved to Bangkok, Thailand.
My grandfather's children: Sharifah Zainab, Syed Musa, Sharifah Kadhijah*, Sharifah Zaitun and Syed Bremcha
My grandfather passed away in the 70's in Golok, southern Thai.
