Do any of your Saucier lines say "also spelled Sauce" ?

The Sauce family being researched has its known roots in Louisiana, especially Natchitoches and Winn Parishes. The oldest proven is John Andrew SAUCE 1872 - 1943 Winn Par LA m 1896 Winn Par to Matilda Roxella RIALS 1870 LA - 1962 Goldonna, Natchitoches Par LA. Both buried Yankee Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Winn Par LA.

John possibly s/o and only child known thus far for Joseph SAUCE m Elizabeth LOWREY his 2nd wife.

Joseph SAUCE married 1st in 1831 Catahoula Par LA to Harriet; family found in 1850 Catahoula Par LA U.S. Census.
