Hi Debera. I'll try my best to answer. Maybe someone else can do better. My records show my direct ancestor as Gideon Satterlee, b early 1700s, and Ruth Bentley. They had several children. I am descended from Elisha Satterlee. Gideon also had a son, Asa. His son, Asa C., had a brother named Gideon who was born about 1780 and died before 1850. He married an Abigail, b 1795 in Easton, NY. she died before 1870 in Wisconsin. This is probably your direct ancestor. After that MY records come to a screeching halt and I just spent over an hour checking. If you come upon any more info please let me know. And if I find out anything more I'll let you know. I'll try to do more checking.
