Hi again,
Well, the Chester Boyd you are referring to is, I believe, the son of Bettie and Edward (not sure where he fits) Satterlee. I find him in the 1900 Vernon Co MO census as age 9. Then in 1910 Seattle WA census he is listed as Boyd Chester, and his mother is now divorced.

I was able to contact the Kansas State Prison and luckily enough they are sending me a copy of his file which should tell me everything! He died Aug 4 1934 in the prison hospital.

Funny enough, I lived in the KC area for 4 years (Olathe mostly) and had no idea of my own family history in the area, let alone the Satterlee family I am researching!
