Can anyone crack this Satterlee nut??

Hi, thought this would be an easy find, but so far, not much info is available. I am hoping someone knows of this fellow. His name is James Orvill Satterlee. His death cert says he was b. in Ft Scott KS on Jan 12, 1906. No parents listed. He died Jan 26, 1959 in San Diego CA, wife listed as Angelina...death cert says she moved to Tijuana. He produced a child, James Satterlee with a young girl named Verna Bacon in San Diego in 1929, they never married. (cant find her either!!) I have NOT been able to find him in 1910, 1920 or 1930 census. He has no obit, died poor with no headstone at Holy Cross Cem in National City CA. Birth certs were not available at the time. HELLLLP!!
