Sorry, I didn't explain Goldie's shorthand <G>. She used an alphanumeric system where the letter refers to the generation (starting with A as the immigrant generation), and the number is the order of birth in the family. So Andrew, George, and Miriam are all in the G generation. Miriam was the 4th child in the family and George and Andrew were the 6th and 7th. I tend to use her system when responding to questions because it helps me keep the generations straight.
