I have done extensive research on this family, and have discussed it with Billie Sue over the years. My line is me> my father Ralph Walters> my grandmother Victoria Cox> Lucinda Satterfield Cox> Greenberry and Lucinda Satterfield. I checked both the eastern and western Cherokee rolls and found a John Satterfield in NC, with two or three other Satterfields. I couldn't validate a connection with our John Satterfield, but I think it likely. I have a picture of John Satterfield, Greenberry's son, who looks VERY Cherokee.
