Dear Allison,
I was born a Satchel, grandfather did away with the second "L". My husband does the geneology. He has our first Satchell coming to the States in 1640, on a ship called the Globe and docking in Boston. I've been told our line comes from Wales, then England. Have been wanting to contact Satchells, since there are so few of us. Would love to hear from you and share what we know. Janay C. (Satchel) Ledbetter
