Hi - There are two Sasse families in Western Australia. I am not descended but know someone who is and can provide further information.

Eric and Phil Sasse migrated from England early 20th Century. Phil's wife Vida Sasse is still living - about 100!! Of Eric's family, he had 3 daughters and 2 sons - only one of the sons is still living to carry on the family name. Richard Henry Sasse Carramar, Canna WA 6627 or phone 0899723022.

The Sasse family originally migrated to England from Scandanavia in 16th or 17th Century. The original family name was Sass - the 'e' being added later to anglicise the name. Information on Sass and subsequently Sasse can be found in Encylopedia Britannica. Sass was a well known artist in London
