According to our family records, Mary Elizabeth Sartwell married James Harvey. She was born 1833 in Mooers, Clinton County, New York, and died 1921 in Oswego County. She married James Harvey and is buried in Saranac Lake, NY. Her father was Moses Amizi Sartwell. He went by Amizi in Vermont and Moses in New York. Mary Sartwell is the daughter of his second of three wives, Mary Day Hardy. She was born in possibly Champlain. My family is descended from Hepsy Chapman, Amizi's first wife, and their daughter, Martha Ann. Mary may be one of the Mooers Sartwell's that my Great Grandmother regularly corresponded with.
