Rose Chaffin Sartor and John Peter Sartor are my great-grandparents. My name is Suzann Little. My maternal grandparents: Sarah Elizabeth "Bettie" Sartor Sandifer and Jesse Thomas Sandifer. My parents were: Sarah Ethel Sandifer Little and Clayburn H. Little.
Here goes:
Rose Ann Don Ton Lopez De Santa Anna Chaffin, called Rosanna/Rosanah or Rosanne, b. 10/23/1858, Itawamba County MS; m. John Peter Sartor (Civil War veteran, 16th MS Cavalry, fought under command of Gen. Nathan Bedford Forest), b., per his Bible, 3/27/1839, per tombstone 1830, per the 1850 census, 1838; m. Rosanah Caffin on 3/10/1857, per family history information.
Their children included: Mary Sartor, b. 5/8/1859; m. bert Maxey, owner of saw mill in MS; 4 sons, 1 daughter;
Sarah Elizabeth Sartor, b. 3/4/1861 (the day Abraham Lincoln took Oath as President), Monroe Co MS, near Aberdeen;
Mattie Sartor, b. 5/30/1865; m. John West;
George Douglas Sartor, b. 2/14/1868; m. Ida
__? ; 3 sons;
John Wiley Sartor (called John), b. 11/25/1870; m. Ida McCoy; 2 sons; 3 daughters; (This included twins, Ruby and Rueben Sartor); moved to Willimason Co TX 1916; later moved to Freestone Co TX 1917;
Ann Sartor, b. 5.27/1872; m. Bert Garner; 2 sons;
Lou, called "Lulu", b. 10/29/1875; m._?__
Taylor; eventually settled in Temple TX (To this day, some Chaffin distant relatives still live in Temple TX; one named Ann Chaffin, now around 60-62 years of age, possibly.)
Archie, called "Arch",; b. 10/11/1880; m. Ida __?__.
Oh, yes, in explanation of Rose's long list of names: her father chose all the names she liked; remember also there is a possibility that the Mexican military pereson named Santa Anna may have been in the MS/Alabama area at some time; don't know if this is a link to Rose's names.

Addie Lee Sandifer; m. Thomas Douglas McWatters; after Douglas' death, she married Will C. Colwell; both Lee and Douglas are buried at Salem;
Ida Bell Sandifer, b. 6/12/1896; m. Robert Stanley Gilliam, Freestone County, TX; Bell's buried at Union Cemetery, Freestone County as is a son killed in WWII; Stanley is buried at Salem as are his parents;
Sarah Ethel Sandifer, b. 9/21/1899; m. Clayburn H. Little on 7/23/1914, in Freestone Co TX; C. H. Little b. 1/5/1892 in Milam County TX; Sarah Ethel died: 2/22/1986, Longview, Gregg County, TX; C. H. Little died 3/19/1958 in Kilgore, Gregg County, TX; both buried at Salem, next to Sarah Ethel's parents, Jesse Thomas Sandifer and Sarah Elizabeth "Bettie" Sartor Sandifer, and their young son, Robert Houston Sandifer.
Laura Mae Sandifer; m. William Clarende Huffman, Freestone Co, TX; both buried Union Cemetery,Freestone Co.,TX.
