Thankyou so much for your prompt reply. Sarsfield Vesey Browne was my Gt.Gt.Gt. Grandfather, so Emily Harriet was my Gt.Gt.Gt. Grandmother. Amazing! I have been able to trace two of the addresses where Sarsfield lived, via Google Earth. The third address "Cambridge House" i found through google. It is a listed building.
I am still puzzled about his son Nicholas John Clinton Browne (Sea Captain), who married Emma Donelan at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Rathmines 1877. As Sarsfield andEmily Harriet Flint do not appear to have had any children, i am not sure where Nicholas fits into their story.
I am amazed to have discovered so much today. I have been searching for so long, and until now, without much success.
It's such an unusual name, there can't have been two:)
Thanks again Joyce. Very much appreciated.
Diane
