yes, my father was edward sarsfield. the first born to bridget gavin and edward sarsfield. birthplace,west philly, briget and edward also had sons, joseph and james, thomas, twin to elizabeth, and cecelia. my sister, catherine sarsfield ranieri, is the oldest of their grandchildren. jeri power sears, the youngest. i do not remenber a peg sarsfield, could you possibly be talking of peg o hare sweeney, she was married to my mother s youngest brother, john. they all lived near each other in west philly. joseph sarsfield, as i remenber, had a first marriage, joseph and charles were there sons, and i recall, kit either had a son, or she had a son by joseph. the name, richard, rings a bell. joseph probably married,kitty, in the early thirties, i do not know where they were married. i know joseph divorced his first wife, and she died , shortly after. rita sarsfield byrne
