Hi: I will post privately to Anne about this however, if anyone would like to know the origin and are wondering if they might be a descendant of Digory Sargent please feel free to send me a message at Marge at jmhowe@sover.net. I have been writing a book on him and his ancestors and descendants and have both information on the Sargents as well as the Langlais family. The Langlais family comes directly from Digory's son Daniel whose name was changed by the French in Canada.
It is an interesting story. Will share with those interested...Marge
