Thank you Keith, you gathered a good sized list. My great-grandmother is descended from Digory Sargent through his son Daniel aka Louis-Philippe Serien dit Langlais. In Montreal the record keepers spelled Sargent as Serjen. But archaic alphabet of the day didn't have the letter j which was replaced by i, hence Serien instead of Serjent. Regards, Daniel.
