I have a two page paper that a cousin sent me years ago called "the Many Friends from The Old Grandfather, William Saregent, Who Came from England about 1820." I don't know where he got the paper from and haven't been able to get up with him again. The paper lists William Sargent then his children William, Edward, Mary, Sally, Eli, Alfred, Lewis, Richard,Edmund and Frank. Then it lists descendants. If anyone can tell me where the paper came from or want to have a copy email me. I'm through the Alfred line.
