My information. Richard Sargent married Marie Stanfield on board Calcutta in Portsmouth UK on the day the ship set sail for Hobart Tasmania. She didnt stay with him for long but was never divorced. She took up a permanent relationship with my relative Matthew Bowden and had his children. Matthew was a surgeon in Hobart he sailed with the supply ship the Ocean the same day as the Calcutta. I dont have any info about Richard other than he was an officer. Marie lived from 1782 - 1855. I presume she was born in the UK
