I am looking for information Elizabeth Bartlett of Newton, New Hampshire. She married Roger Sargeant (1759-1839) of Bath, Grafton County, New Hampshire on 17 December 1779, and died in Venice, Ohio in 1819.
I am especially interested in anything that will pin down her parents’ names. Public sources such as Ancestry.com say she was born in Newton on 19 August 1759 to Joseph Bartlett and Elizabeth Webster.
However, I have a family letter from the 1860s that says she was the daughter of Elizabeth Kelly. In that case, she was born, also in Newton, on 23 Apr 1755. (The two Elizabeths were third cousins.)
