Thanks for the reply. I haven't actually managed to find out any more info on the Sargeant side of my family.
The only info I do have is my Grandmother was Doris Roylance born in Drayton married to William Adams born in Newport 1903. Her mother was Florence Sargeant married to Joseph Roylance in Drayton. Florence had a brother George and Millie, there may have been more. Their parents were George who (I think) was married to Florence. They lived in the grounds of Buntingsdale Hall where he worked.
I have George owning a builders business at Hodnet and having two children, Malcolm and Sidney who (i think) owns a garage in Hodnet....that's all I know, but would love to learn more. It seems there is a link in our families.
