Hello Gary,

My name is Liz Sargeant..i live in Hodnet. My Grandad was george..he owned the builders in Hodnet. We still live there.

Actually the Sargeants came from the lostford area..not market Drayton..although Lostford is about 3 or 4 miles out of Market Drayton.

I heard that my great grandad was an orphan...i also know that my grandad george was educated at Stafford Grammar school. So they were obviously well off.

My grandad married Sarah Cookson..from Shirlett.
