Yes, I am aware they are three separate land masses. I was just curious about Sardinia and Palermo if they are close enough say for instance a person might live one place and work in another place...You know like in NY people live on Staten Island, but work in NYC...
I think the 123 people who have Fanconi Anemia were from Italy. I am not aware of any from Sardinia or Sicily or they may had just lumped all the cases under Italy.
I have never heard of the anemia in connection with the
Fava beans though...
I have heard of the Cooley's Anemia or Thalassemia.
My husband's 96 year old Aunt has the minor Thalassemia.
