I would be interested in contacting anyone who is able to help with information on the Mellino family from Nule.
My husband's father was Giacomo Mellino who was born on 7 February, 1910 in Nule and died there on 3 September, 1993. Giacomo married Carmina Sanna from Orune. They and their children moved to Australia but Giacomo and Carmina returned to Nule in 1975.
Giacomo was the youngest of five children - his siblings being:- Giovanna Rosa, Antonia Angela, Richedda and Rosalia. Antonia Angela also came to Australia.
Giacomo's parents were Giovanni and Maria Rosa Mellino.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
