Ozieri (Osieri) Immigrants to U.S.

Hello, everyone:

I'm interested in contacting anyone doing genealogical research involving ancestors from Ozieri (Osieri) in Sardinia's Sassari region. I would like to establish an email list and a web-site for us to share information. I have spent considerable time looking at the microfilm rolls of Ozieri civil records and looking at the names of Ozieri immigrants on Ellis Island records, and would be fascinated to learn more from other people who have studied their Ozieri ancestors.

The names from Ozieri I am researching include Ruffinu (Ruffini), Lai, Ledda, Culeddu, Biddau, Meloni, Pinna, Corrozu (Corrosu), Carraca, and Sau. Some of these names are now gone from Ozieri. Some of them no longer exist in Sardinia at all.

Interested in any exchanges with anyone on this topic. Looking forward,
