To trace your Sappington lineage back, we will need to know a little bit more about your direct line.Example, father, grandfather, great grandfather.Also, areas your family lived in would be helpful.The Sappington family, as a whole, has been in America since at least 1695.Our known progenitor was Nathaniel Sappington whose name appears on a Baltimore County, Maryland tax roll.Nathaniel and his family next appear on records of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Cecil County, Maryland (Eastern Shore) in 1701.
