SPRINGFIELD - L. Lovene Sapp, 87, of Springfield died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006, at her home.
She was born Aug. 18, 1919, in Waggoner, the daughter of Arch F. and Lola Boston Jostes. She married Leonard W. Sapp in 1940.
Mrs. Sapp retired as a receptionist from Lincoln Land Development Co. after 32 years. She was a member of West Side Christian Church, where she formerly served as primary department director for Sunday school and was a member of Charlie's Angels, Golden Tones, U&I Sunday school class and the church choir. She also was a member of Sangamon County Home Bureau Extension and served as a 4-H lea-der.
Survivors: husband, Leonard; two daughters, Lois (husband, Bill) Collins and Lola (husband, Glen) Garrison, both of Sherman; son, Larry W. (wife, Carol) Sapp of Sherman; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, West Side Christian Church, Gary Winkleman, Charles Lee and Vaughn Beeman officiating. Burial: Roselawn Memorial Park.
Staab Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
