Dear Mercedes: Today, I decided to look up my maternal grandfather, Santiago de Santos, on the " de Santos Family Genealogy Forum " and came across your message on the message board. From what I was told by my cousin, our family came from a hacienda, El Meson de los Sauces and Encarnacion de Diaz, Jalisco. I am not sure when the
" los " was dropped. My mother was born in what was then Santa Ana, CA. Our family settled in Ventura, CA and my mother later moved to Santa Barbara, CA. My grandfather and grandmother, Maria Delgado, had 5 daughters, no sons.
I have been thinking for some time now about having my own DNA done. I believe I am the only one in my family interested in having it done.
I am interested in knowing if you received your DNA results yet ??? Betty J. Pribble
