INQUIRING ABOUT SANTEE HERITAGE

Hi. I just saw your posting for more information on your Santee heritage.I checked with my father and he confirmed the following:
Clarence was the eldeste of three brothers. They were Clarence, Cyril and Earl. They were the children of Catherine Brennan and Robert Eugene Santee of the Philadelphia area(my dad isn't positive about Robert's name because he died when my dad was very little, but he thinks it's correct). My dad,Earl Jr., is the son of Earl, the youngest brother.Unfortunately, Earl Sr. passed away about eight years ago.He had relocated from Philly to Sacramento in the mid 80's(where we'velived since the late 70's)and he had hoped to contact Clarence and Cyril, but didn't have any success finding them.My dad recalls that his father told him that Clarence had moved to L.A. and opened a gym and that Cyril was in the Navy and then became a postman.Earl Sr. was a merchant marine and then a heating and a/c repairman.
Catherine, their mother, remarried Edwin Meeker, and had three more boys: Norman, Edwin and Calvin. Thus, they are half-brothers to the first three boys.We believe Norman passed away.Edwin (Ed) is living in Oregon and we've met him a few times. We don't have any information on Calvin though. As for Earl Sr., he had two boys, Ronald Earl and Earl Lester Jr., my dad.My dad lost touch with Ronald, so we don't know where he is.Earl Sr. divorced and then remarried and had three more children with his second wife. The are Kathy, Kim and Robert.Kathy and Kim live back east and Robert lives here in Sacramento.I do remember my grandfather telling me stories about riding the rails back in the 30's to L.A. from Philadelphia to stay with Clarence. He and his younger half brother, Ed, did this. For a short while my grandfather lived in Venice Beach and then moved back to Philadelphia.
Any information you're willing to share would be appreciated.
