I too have Sansone's coming to New Orleans from Sicily. They did have relatives in New York though so I'm not sure if they landed in New Orleans or in New York but I'm thinking New Orleans. They moved to Metarie La then to Raceland La. My ggrandmother supposedly came over when she was 5 and couldn't speak much english. Her name was Mary b. 1885 and she married Frank Territa. I have her parents as Dommonique and Mary. I don't have much on this side of my family and would love to share. Thanks. G
