Cubbison is definitely an interrelated name with my Cox, although off the top of my head I only know of one intermarriage.I doubt that I have anything too detailed, but I'll review my files (I'm a hunter and gatherer so I have many bits and pieces even though they don't relate to my exact line). It may take me a few days, but here is the info from my immediate line.
My William Cox b. in the late 1700s married Ester/Esther Sankey b. 1788, daughter of Major Ezekiel Sankey b.1762 in Mifflin County, PA, and Jane Cubbison b. 1767 in Ireland.
William and Ester had a daughter Anna Cox (no birth date known) who married a William Moak.William and Ester also had a daughter Rachel Cox who married a Henry Robinson. The name Dickson does not show up.
The above paragraph was info I got from a Matthews/Brown family researcher, now deceased, who said the info came from "History of Lawrence County 1770-1877, Family Record by a Clyde Shoaf, grandson of Sarah Cox (another child of William and Ester, who married a Peter Shoaf), and from the memories of Catherine Brown and Joseph Matthews.
So, I'll check my records and see if I see anything more.I also received several Sankey genealogies from others trying to match up to my info, so I'll look through them for clues.
Talk to you later.
