many thanks for replying to my message. Thank you for the offer of the will but I too have a copy of it. That is how I verified it was the correct Charles Sanger for me because I had found another one living in Lambeth of a similar age. In the will he mentions his daughter Maria who was married to Charles James Bailey, Dyer. These are my 3 x ggrand parents. I see in the will that Charles mentions a sister Jane Gardner? of Kensington but no other sister. By the way I have never found Jane in a census. Have you tried looking for a baptism for Ann in Wiltshire? I have reason to believe that Charles was born in WIltshire, although I think he married in Hampshire. I know that he was a broom/brush maker all of his life but he appeared to be quite a wealthy one. If you have any other clues for Ann I would be happy to look through my notes.
