Yes, I believe I came across a post where James Sanger was born 1851, not to worry now.
I do not have much info at all. I was always aware that Margate Museum would have everything I need on the Sanger should I want it but we lost our jobs back in March when the council cut our funding so Margate Museum is no more and all its archives and artifacts hidden behind closed doors with no access.
It the Reeve family I am most interested in. Arthur Reeve married Sarah Harriet Sanger in 1873.
Arthur's father Thomas Dalby Reeve purchased the old terminus building on Margate seafront in 1867 and this became the Hall by the Sea.
George Sanger bought the building from the Reeve's in 1874 and it ran till 1919 when John Henry isles took over.
I just wanted a rough outline of the Sanger family but like I say, more interested in the Margate Reeve's side.
