Can anyone help with connecting John Sanger who married in Wiveliscombe in 1630. Im trying to establish the family he was connected to.
John married Margaret Whitfield in Wiveliscombe in 1630. They had at least 3 children - Peter, Adam and Anstice in Wiveliscombe.
Prior to these entries there are no Sanger entries in Wiveliscombe so I can only presume the Sangers were from another Somerset town (possibly Devon - Wiveliscombe is close to Devon). Peter stayed on in Wiveliscombe and changed the name to Swanger
