I am trying to piece together my blood lines and I seem to be hitting a snag on my Grandfathers Side
I have no information on who his father was, and his mother name was Almira (Gauge) (Sanford) the only information I have is that William H. Sandford was born on Jan 18, 1902 in Watertown, New York. He was adopted by Robert Greg Holland his Stepfather, his mother (My great grand mother) second husband at the age of 7years old. Hence the problem I thought I was a Holland it turns out my Grandfather was a Sanford, The record of his birth was lost when a fire destroyed the City Hall in Watertown New York. Oh yeah He also had three sisters, Vivian Sandford, Alma Holland and Arlene.
any information would help me in my quest.
