Hi Cherie, The G could have been a T and misunderstood or miswritten by the census taker.
Here is the census I have on Jeptha. I think the M L Faster is probably M L Foster. I could not find any Fasters in Itawamba County, but there were Fosters. Do you know when and where Jeptha died?
