I'm seeking Mark Sandiford b.November 15, 1837 in Bury, Lancashire, and married Dorothy/Dorothea Sandiford before emigrating to the US in 1868. They settled in the Joliet Illinois area and had five children - William, Alice, Emily, Amy and May.

Mark may have been the son of Robert Sandiford and Betty Sharples who were married on May 1, 1814 in Bury, St. Mary's, Lancashire, England.

Any lead no matter how small would be greatly appreciated! Sincerely, Susan
