From Warren Forsythe: Information on the children from "Descendants of Bartholomew Stovall (1665-1722) (First 5 American Generations)," by Donald E. Bishop
From Arvil Hancock: In 1989 John Hale Stutesman, of San Francisco, published a book: "Some Watkins Families of Virginia and their Kin: Abbott, Anderson, Bass, Clay, Fox, Farrar, Hancock, Hundley, Montague, Moseley, Randolph, Walthall, Wooldridge." Unlike my book, which is a family history, this book is more of a Genealogy. His book starts with Henry Watkins born about 1638 and died after 1715 in Henrico, VA. John Watkins was born about 1710 in Cumberland, VA, married Phoebe Hancock (d/o Samuel & Johan) in 1734, and died January 1765 in Cumberland, VA. Phoebe was born 10 May 1719 in Henrico. Their son John (Captain) Watkins was born 23 Jul 1742 in Goochland, VA, married Mary Hudson about 1762 in Hanover, VA, and died 1807 in Woodford, KY. Their daughter Elizabeth Jennings Watkins was born about 1764 in Chesterfield, VA, married James Lockett about 1782, and died about 1798 in Jessamine, KY. Their daughter Mary "Polly" Lockett was born about 1790 in Chesterfield, VA, married John (J.S.) Smith 22 Aug 1811 in Woodford, KY. Their daughter Jacyntha Smith was born about 1818 in Woodford, KY, married John Poor about 1836, and died after 1865 in Missouri.

Looking forward to hearing from you!!
