Another St. Charles Boy Wounded
Harry Sandberg Goes To Hospital

Word from Washington has been received that Harry Sandberg was wounded in battle, August 16th.

Harry Sandberg is the 26 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. August Sandberg, living two and a half miles northeast of St. Charles. Information came from Washington, D.C. informing them of the injury, but no further particulars,.

The young man left his work in Chicago and came home to enter the army as electrical engineer, last March. He went to Ft. Meyer, Va.

The father, August Sandberg, is employed at the Cable company. The family has lived here seven years. Harry ws employed by Johnson and Blomquist when that firm was in business.

There are two more Sandberg boys who expect to go to war.

------------
I am not related to nor researching this family and have no further information.
