Pedro Sanchez of Brownsville, Tx help?

hi, have studied my own family extensively, but still got more to do. i'm now wanting to start on my wife's side of the family. as far as I can get so far is a Pedro Sanchez in Brownsville, Texas, and his wife or girlfriend (havnt figured out which yet) was a Maria del Refugio Ramon. From what I've gathered, he was a bit of a player. They had a son, Jose Mathis Sanchez born in Brownsville in 1928. He moved to San Antonio and married Maria Julia Ramirez (wife's grandmother). She is originally from Piedras Negras, Mexico. Since that is outside the U.S., I fear tracing her line will be next to impossible. Anyways, if anyone knows anything about a Pedro Sanchez and or a Maria del Refugio Ramon in the Brownsville area in and around 1928 or even in San Antonio after that time, I'd appreciate correspondence.
