So very stuck on all the following: Rafoela Sanches mar. Juan Antonio Duran and is mother of Sara Duran b.Sept 17, 1887, Rio del Pueblo, NM d.1962. Can anyone tell me of Sara's childrens names and or of her siblings names? And the correct name of who she married? It is said that she married Elasardo (spelled as it sounds?) Roybal mar. Sara Duran 1887, Penasco, NM.
In the 1900 Santa Fe co census
film-#T623-1002 house #160 is a
Juan L? Roybal (the question mark included as if having trouble with the spelling also). In the same house is a Rudolfo age 5 in the NM 1900s census. Rudolfo may be my grandfather who I only know as Rudolph Roybal. However, my family says he was born in 1899, Penasco making the age wrong. Also in same household is mother-in-law Dolores Valdez. Unless Sara's first name is Romona listed as wife to Juan and Dolores is her mother I am not sure this is the same family.
Is it possible that this line of Duran's surname may of been adopted by local Native Americans? Any infor would be great on any of the above names. Please feel free to contact me directly at the following email address Tessiejeans@hotmail.com thank you
