In the book "Sanborns in England and america" it gives Almon born April 15, 1838 married to Cynthia living in Franklin. Nothing on descendents.
His father was Benjamin Sanborn born in Standish, Me, March 10, 1795 married April 17 1817 to Abigail Cram of Baldwin.
Benjamins father was Peter Sanborn born in Harper Falls July 9, 1751- lived in Baldwin, Me. Marrried in 1870 Lydia daughterMiles Richardson, died Aug., 6 1827.
Peter was in the Mass. Line during the Revolution.
Cynthia was born April 24, 1845. Her father a was Rufus Nelson Sanborn born in Baldwin, Me, Aug., 6, 1818 Married Sept., 10, 1843 Mary Lewis born July 1818 and died Feb., Feb., 22, 1856. He died Jan., 12, 1861. Rufus father also Rufus born in Standish, Me, Dec. 22, 1784, Married Nov., 13,1806 Sarah daughter of Joseph Cram of Baldwin, she was born 1787 and diesOct., 6, 1848, Rufus died Sept., 25, 1859.Rufus father was Peter the same as Benjamin so this makes Almon and Cynthia first cousins once removed.
Ther is more on their descendents on Ancestry.com but they are doen for repairs. Will give you what is there when it is back.
