Was happy to recieve your message. I am writing this exactly the way it was written for me. James Samuel, father of James Samuel came from Culpper Courthouse, Va. and intermarried with the Boford's Major's Shelby's and Munday's,Tom Buford's mother was a Samuel. Shelby's mother was a Samuel. To James Samuel and his wife formally a Munday was born James Samuel Dec. 9, 1792
James Samuel and wife Lucy Chowning were born on the same date[this must be true as it was in a census] They had 11 children, America, Norcissa, Fidelia, Belzora,Caswell[my gr. grandfather] Sidney,Diantha,Lucy,James,Manlius, and Erastus. These people came up thr the Carolinia's into Ky. Some moved on to Missouri and settled. My Gr. Grand father had gone there too and married a Virginia Cox, came back to sell his property and could'nt leave because of the war and the river was blocked so they settled in Sparta, Ky.
I could'nt reach you by your Email address. It came back unknown. I'm beginning to see how many Samuel familly's are in this world. We may be related?
Sincerely Yours,
Janet Samuel Feuss
