We have some information about this man. He is buried at Elkhorn Dodge County, Nebraska, as is his son Samuel. We believe his sister Elizabeth was married to our ancestor William Tabler. There is one census entries for him where he identifies his origin as Pennsylvania, where he is living with his sons Levi and Samuel. Omitted in Levi's list of kids was Levi, who is also on the 1850 Appanoose IA census page.

I would be happy to provide a picture of the two tombstones if you are interested. We tend to lean toward the Pennsylvania origin with a stop in Ohio, VA because of the Tabler connection--they also came from PA. But we are also searching for any and all information about this family--they have been hard for us to find.

Thanks,

K Cart
