Simeon Wood (b. 1804 NY) and Emeline (White) Wood (b. 1815 KY) were the parents of Elizabeth Wood (b. 1835 OH) who married James Samson (b. 1834 OH). They were the parents of:
Annie M. (Dec. 1855) m. Thomas H. Bennett
Emma L. (June 1861) m. Milton H. Shumway
Hulda Elida (Jan 1864) Never Married
Simeon Edward (Sept 1869) m. Caroline L. Violet
In 1880, a widowed Simeon Wood is living with the James Sampson family in Harrison Twp, Scioto, Ohio. Hulda Samson never married but spent her life living with various family members. On the 1930 Census she is living with her sister, Emma, and husband, Milton H. Shumway in Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio.
