My line of Sampsons is traced back to Sioux Falls, SD. My great grandpa was Lester Irwin "Shorty" Sampson (born in Sioux Falls, SD) he married Mary (Hollingshead) Sampson. I'm pretty sure I found his parents and grandparents but the rumor was he was adopted so I'm afraid to dig further into the Sampsons if we are not truly related to this family. Any info would be helpful.
