I am looking for information on the parents of John Henry Samples born and buried in Newport, Tennessee. He died in 1961, and was married to Sarah Emmaline Hartsell. They had several children, two of which died very young. The only thing I know about his parents is that his father is listed as Wiley on John death record at the funeral home. I'm not sure if that his given name or a nickname or something he was called. John Henry is my great-grandfather and I would love to be able to go further back in my family tree.
