My GreatGreat Grandfather is Robert Sample 1819-1902 he had a brother John. I am having great difficulty researching this family. Robert was born and lived in Mifflin Co. Pa. He married someone I think by the name of Hanna Ingram had three children William, Margaret, and Elizabeth. He later remarried a Susanna McNutt and had five more children. He and came to Clarion Co before the Civil War and settled on a farm in Churchville, Pa. Later moved to a farm near New Bethlehem, Pa. I don't know anything about John. I suspect there may have been some sort of problem since this family seems to have been separated from all other Sample family. Does your information in anyway sound like it could be my Sample family? Thanks
