Dear all --I am at a brick wall looking up my Risner ancestors and am going another way. .

My ggrandfather was William P. Risner, b. 1880 in KY, who I believe to be the child of John Risner and Usley Patton Risner. William P. was married to Maude Diamond and lived in McLennon County Texas at least from 1900 - 1930 accdg to census. My grandfather was their son, James Roy (Ray) Risner, b. 1906 in Texas.

I am looking for relatives who may be able to confirm this information, but I am having difficulty finding William P. as the child of John and Usley. The closest I have is William and Maude living next door to George W. Risner and his family, along with his mother, Usley in 1910. I am thinking 2 Risners born about the same time in Kentucky living next door to each other in Texas must be brothers, no?

Let me know if you can shed some light,
Melinda Ortego Loustalot
