here i am back to my genealogy after 10 years...anyway my grandfather was luther salyer from johnson county, kentucky, who then went to northern california...my father was robert mervin salyer...my ancestry started with benjamin k. salyer, as it is said, who settled in south carolina, but died in the colony at guilford court house in north carolina...it is said that he had two sons, benjamin salyer jr. and zachariah salyer, in which one of the two i am a decendant of...i do have two genealogy books that were written by mitchel hall in 1928 of johnson county kentucky that has the history of this salyer clan starting with benjamin k. salyer sr., although i have been told that it is not all 100% accurate...so i am excited to be back and hope to get response to this post message...also i used to go by rebecca lou, as i will do so again...
