Have you looked at Rowland Salmon(s)? He was born in Virgina in 1750 and died in Floyd County, Kentucky in 1820. He was the brother of John Salmon(s), the first sheriff of Henry County, Virginia. In looking at Kentucky records, especially in eastern Kentucky, you need to keep in mind that what is now known as Kentucky may well have been at one time a part of Virginia. If you want some references regarding this family, let me know.
