James Joel Salmon was my 3rd g-grandfather's son,he was born March 22, 1882 In Halifax co Va. Married a Mary Ann Brasher of Christian Co Ky. James died in March of 1892..James had a brother as well a William B. Salmon,born in Halifax co va. who married a Nancy A. Clark born April 7th 1828 d 1862..Christian co Ky.
James & Williams father is John Salmon and their mother is Agnes Torian..both from Halifax co va. I am hoping that maybe the closer kin may know something about the three Salmon's who lived on Lawsons creek in Halifax co va..I am looking into my John Salmon, who was his parents and who were his siblings..I have posted on there was a William, Joel and John Salmon in Halifax co..i believe these three men are brothers..If you know of any info that may help, maybe ask someone that is in this line if they know something..thanks I will share info..
